拟南芥复制因子C 亚基3 在黄化苗下胚轴伸长生长中的作用

摘 要:

拟南芥遮光培养 2.5 d 时, rfc3-1 突变体黄化幼苗的下胚轴平均长度约比野生型植株黄化幼苗的下胚轴长 27.5%。观 察表明, 相对于野生型复制因子 C 亚基 3 (replication factor C3, AtRFC3)基因突变体的下胚轴表皮细胞, 特别是上部靠近子 叶部分的表皮细胞, 单细胞长度变长。将野生型 RFC3 基因转染到 rfc3-1 后, 突变体恢复野生型表型, 进一步说明 RFC3 在 黄化苗的下胚轴伸长生长中有作用。

Arabidopsis Replication Factor C Subunit 3 Plays a Role in Hypocotyl Elongation of Etiolated Seedling

Abstract:

The average length of etiolated hypocotyl of rfc3-1 mutant was about 27.5% longer than that of the wild type plants under dark culture conditions for 2.5 days. The main reason is that mutation in RFC3 (replication factor C3) causes the length of single epidermal cell, especially the epidermal cell close to cotyledon becoming longer than that of the wild type. Transformation of wild type AtRFC3 gene into rfc3 mutant rescued the mutant phenotypes, suggesting that RFC3 plays a role in hypocotyl elongation of etiolated seedlings in Arabidopsis thaliana.
